Full-Time English Teacher – Secondary School in Bournemouth – January Start

A well-established secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a dynamic and passionate Full-Time English Teacher to join their team starting in January. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to contribute to the development of students in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Support students in their academic growth, promoting literacy skills and a love of reading and writing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.

Requirements:

  • A qualified teacher with a degree in English or a related subject.
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and exam specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students to succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
