Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school in Cornwall who are looking for a Teacher of English. This is a full-time role, so applicants should ensure they are available 08:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday. This is a long-term role, starting in September, for a minimum of one term. This role has the potential to become permanent.

The school are looking for someone with a background in English, and would welcome interest from ECT’s, FQT’s and Cover Supervisors. They are looking for someone who is passionate about working in education and is able to motivate students in this subject, through enthusiasm and knowledge of the sector.

We are looking for individuals who are punctual, reliable, and passionate about teaching. You will be responsible for motivating and encouraging KS3 and KS4 students, as well as communicating their progress. Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum is advantageous.

Educators will be required to have a Child Workforce DBS on the update service prior to being place in a school, however, support with this can be offered during the registration process. Candidates applying should have excellent knowledge of policies including Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning, and Equal Opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
