English Teacher – Secondary SEN School (Andover)
Are you an experienced English Teacher with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? A Secondary SEN school in Andover is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team. Role Overview:
- Position: English Teacher (GCSE Level)
- Location: Secondary SEN School, Andover
- Contract: Temporary, starting ASAP with potential for a permanent role later in the academic year

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach GCSE English to pupils with additional needs
- Adapt lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils with SEND
- Provide a nurturing and structured environment that fosters both academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with the school’s supportive staff to deliver the best outcomes for students
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
- Previous experience teaching GCSE English
- Experience working in SEND settings or supporting students with additional needs
- A flexible, compassionate approach and strong behavior management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
