Job Description: English and Maths KS3 LAC Tutor
Location:

£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 Looked After Children (LAC)
- Create engaging lesson plans to support individual learning needs
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders
- Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with Looked After Children
- Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Training in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in a school or home setting
- May require travel to different locations within Greater London
- Flexible working hours based on student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
