About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education.
- Assist in creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
- Provide individual and small group support to children, including those with special educational needs.
- Help with the planning and preparation of activities and resources.
- Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in an early years setting.
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring and patient nature, with a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A DBS check registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
