Location: Crosby, Merseyside
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only (3 Days in Reception, 2 Days in Nursery)

About the School:

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Crosby, committed to providing the best possible start in education for our young learners. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) with EYFS experience to join their dedicated team.

The Role:

As an EYFS ECT, you will work 3 days a week in the Reception class and 2 days a week in the Nursery. You will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons that support the development of each child.
  • Assessing and recording children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression across the EYFS.
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

The Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • EYFS experience (essential).
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing the best possible learning experience for young children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
