Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a nurturing and innovative early years setting, dedicated to providing high-quality education and care for young children, to source an EYFS practitioner on a part-time and flexible basis. Our team is committed to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Student to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for a student currently studying Early Childhood Education or a related field, looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote children’s learning and development.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery/classroom, including setting up and tidying away activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Observe and document children’s progress under the supervision of qualified staff.
- Ensure the environment is safe, clean, and welcoming.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education programme or related field.
- Passion for working with young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive and positive attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
