We are now looking to welcome a passionate Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

The Role:
As an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a welcoming and supportive school setting. You will be responsible for teaching a class of primary-aged children, planning engaging lessons, and supporting each child’s individual progress. Under the mentorship of experienced colleagues, you will also be given the guidance and professional development to ensure a successful start to your teaching career.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your students.

-          Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure continuous development.

-          Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters enthusiasm for learning.

-          Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents to ensure the well-being and progress of all pupils.

-          Participate in ongoing professional development and reflect on your teaching practice.

You will ned to:

-          A passionate and enthusiastic individual with a genuine desire to make a difference in children’s lives.

-          Newly qualified (or soon-to-be qualified) teacher with a relevant degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-          A creative approach to teaching and the ability to engage students in a variety of learning activities.

-          Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively.

-          A commitment to working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
