Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teacher (ECT) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to join our team on a full-time basis, teaching a Year 1 class. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a new teacher to gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic school community while contributing to our pupils’ educational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Mark and assess pupils’ work, providing constructive feedback to promote progress and achievement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports every child’s learning journey.
• Track and monitor pupil progress, ensuring that all students are supported to reach their potential.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the curriculum.
• Build and maintain strong communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and development.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:15 pm.

Pay Scale:
The role will be paid to scale in accordance with the teacher pay framework.

Candidate Requirements:

• Achieved or anticipated Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by January.
• A passion for teaching and a strong commitment to supporting young learners.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to planning and classroom management.
