ARE YOU A CREATIVE, QUALIFIED DT TEACHER SEEKING NEW OPPORTUNITIES?

Our partnership school in West Bromwich are seeking a dynamic and inspiring DT teacher to work on a full time basis.

The school are an OFTSED "good" rated school with excellent teaching facilities, good behaviour and positive examination results year on year.

 

Location: B70

Hours: Full Time

Pay: To scale (for full time fully qualified roles)

Start Date: Jan/Feb 2025

 

Ideal Applicant:

-  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- PGCE/Schools Direct

- Bachelors Degree in DT 

- Specialise in one area of design and technology (e.g. food tech, textiles, product design, systems & control)

- Experience and proven track record teaching DT in a UK secondary school

 

Roles/Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative DT lessons 

- Differentiate planning to suit the individual needs within the class

- Track pupils progress through various forms of assessment

- Provide pupils with regular feedback to help them progresss with their learning

- Collaborate with colleagues in the department to ensure standards are high and outcomes are positive

-Maintain a professional and conscientious approach to safeguarding at all times

- Contribute to wider school community through volunteering your time in extra curricular activities, parents evening etc
