Job Title: DT Specialist Teacher

Salary: Negotiable

Location: Nottingham

Contract: Part time, FTC (0.4 - 0.5)

 

Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce Team are currently working alongside an Academy in Nottingham who are currently seeking a permanent DT Teacher from September 2024. As a committed professional, you will have the opportunity to teach our fantastic students aged 16+. The successful applicant will be a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who has a positive and open approach to learning. This post is suitable for an experienced teacher or ECT. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver the curriculum as required to post 16 students.
  • Responsible for creating and delivering lesson plans, adjusting to each group/year where required.
  • Accountable for students progress within class.
  • Have a clear understanding of each students needs.
  • Produce accurate and productive assessments of students progression.

 

Requirements:

  • A UK Teaching Qualification with QTS is desirable for this role.
  • Prior experience teaching GCSE Design & Technology within a Secondary School/FE setting.
  • Hold a minimum Bachelors degree within the subject.
  • Have an up to date DBS registered on the Update Service or issued within 3 weeks.
