Exciting Opportunity for a D&T Teacher in Durham!

Are you a passionate Design and Technology (D&T) teacher looking for a fresh start in September 2024? Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a Fully Qualified Teacher, we welcome your application!

Position: D&T Teacher

  • Pay: £153.84 to £238.58 per day (M1-UPS3)
  • Contract: Full-Time
  • Start Date: September 2024

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Broad understanding of the Design and Technology curriculum with a specialism in one area of D&T
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Child-only DBS on the update service (we can assist with this during registration)
  • Two professional references from recent employment

Job Brief:

  • Teach D&T to KS3 and KS4 students of varying abilities
  • Have a subject specialism in at least one area of D&T.
  • Plan, deliver, and mark both practical and theory D&T lessons tailored to meet diverse student needs
  • Engage in a variety of extracurricular activities
