Teaching Personnel is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for Drama Graduates to bring their creativity and enthusiasm into a supportive educational setting. We are looking for dynamic individuals to join a special school in Birmingham, focused on Autism, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), and Learning Difficulties. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives, helping them grow in confidence and express themselves.
Your Role:
- Engage with children and young adults, using your drama skills to support their educational and personal development.
- Facilitate creative learning activities that cater to students' diverse needs, working both 1:1 and in small groups.
- Gain invaluable experience across various key stages, including Early Years, Primary, Secondary, and Post-16 education.
- Collaborate with a passionate team in a purpose-built school that values community involvement and creative approaches to learning.
Ideal Candidates: We are interested in graduates with degrees in:
- Drama
- Performing Arts
- Psychology
- Educational Studies
- Social Work
- Youth and Community Studies
- Or other related fields

Requirements:
- A willingness to apply for or already possess an Enhanced Child DBS, registered on the update service.
