Part-Time Design Technology Teacher – Knutsford (WA16)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a part-time Design Technology Teacher for one of our associate schools. This school supports pupils with SEMH difficulties and is part of a successful MAT. They currently cater for nearly 85 pupils between 7 and 18 years, many of whom experience SEN such as ASC. This means that behaviour management and experience with EHCPs is essential for this role.

This school is seeking a secondary-experienced DT Teacher, with a willingness to take on other responsibilities to have a positive impact on the wider school is desirable. The incoming teacher must have an empathetic and accommodating approach to these pupils. This is a temp to perm role, in which the incoming teacher may be offered a school contract after a successful trial period.

The incoming teacher will work with a small, mixed-ability class. This will involve working with Teaching Assistants to produce a cohesive and engaging classroom environment, maximising potential. This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers.

  • PAYE on a weekly basis on Timesheets through Teaching Personnel (no umbrella company or agency fees).
  • Permanent, full-time role with a September start.
  • Daily rate pro-rata from M1-UPS3 pay scale (£28,000 – £43,685) + SEN Allowance and pension.
  • Registration with Teaching Personnel required.
