Cover Teacher

Salary:

£90 - £150 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour
  • Provide support and assistance to students as needed
  • Follow the school's policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and parents regarding student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Prior experience working with students in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles
  • Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or behaviour management

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school environment.
  • Potential for working in different schools on a temporary basis.
  • Full-time hours with flexibility.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
