Job description

Position: Cover Supervisor

Location: Northampton

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors who are available to work in Schools in and around Northampton.

About the role

As a cover supervisor you’ll be stepping in when teachers are away to ensure the students learning journey continues seamlessly. Your mission includes supervising and engaging students, delivering pre-prepared lessons, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will need to have a flexible and adaptive nature and open to covering for a variety or subjects, and year groups depending on what is required at the time. It is also ideal that you have an innovative mindset to adapt the lessons to all different skill sets to ensure understanding across the board for all students.

Requirements

  • Teaching qualifications are not required but experience within Teaching, Leading or coaching groups of students is ideal.
  • Any qualifications in specific subjects are ideal
  • Good classroom management
  • Adaptable and Flexible to work with all ages, and skills
  • A child only enhanced DBS
  • An overseas police clearance (if applicable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
