ABOUT THE SCHOOL:

This role will be based at an established grammar school located within Bournemouth . With Outstanding GCSE results and over 525 clubs and societies to choose from, this secondary school has a lot to offer. The school we are working with has a Sixth Form on site which means pupils can start at age 11 and leave at 18 years old!

THE RESPONSIBILITES FOR THE ROLE:

You will be required to be covering lessons which means resources and work will be provided by the school. Manage the classroom while delivering adaptive and responsive teaching. As well as provide assistance to the regular teaching staff within lessons.

Our ideal candidate would be:

-Experienced in an educational setting or equivalent.

-Confident in behavioural management skills.

-Motivating students to reach their potential.

-Have a well rounded knowledge of general education.

Please note that experience in an educational setting may not be necessary if the candidate can display desirable skills that are transferrable, such as from a sporting background or other leadership positions. The main prerequisite is that one is confident speaking in front of large groups and carrying out behaviour management policies. Also there is support from senior leaders too. Graduates looking to train to teach are particularly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
