Location: Vale of Glamorgan

Contract: Flexible, Term-Time Only

Teaching Personnel is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across the Vale of Glamorgan. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and wish to gain classroom experience in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain classroom management.
  • Support students with their learning and address any immediate questions or concerns.
  • Uphold school policies and ensure the safety and well-being of students.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people, such as in coaching, youth work, or classroom settings, is desirable.
  • Confidence to manage a classroom and ensure positive behaviour.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for education and supporting young learners.
  • Flexibility to work in various schools across the Vale of Glamorgan.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
