Job Role - Cover Supervisor 

Pay rate - £95 - £115 per day

Location - Worcestershire, Rubery

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit Cover Supervisors for flexible needs for our ofsted rated 'good' schools in Worcestershire, Rubery. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a cover supervisor within schools in the UK and understand the importance of safeguarding children within an educational setting.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education in the absence of regular teaching staff. You will oversee classes and ensure that pre-prepared work is completed by students. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in education or those seeking flexible work within the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes across various subjects and year groups in the absence of regular teaching staff.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
  • Provide support to students who may require assistance with tasks.
  • Report back on the progress and behaviour of students during the lesson.
  • Ensure the safety and safeguarding of students is paramount within all of your classes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
