Job Duties:

1. Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher

 

2. Implementing pre-prepared lesson plans effectively

 

3. Ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for students

 

4. Managing student behaviour and maintaining discipline

 

5. Providing support to students with their learning activities

 

Required Qualifications:

Degree in any discipline

 

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree

 

Experience:

Prior experience working in an educational setting is desirable

 

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 

2. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively

 

3. Good organisational and time-management abilities

 

4. Confidence in dealing with students and staff

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience

 

Working Conditions:

1. Work hours may vary based on school schedules

 

2. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic educational environment

 

3. May require standing or walking for extended periods

 

4. Potential exposure to typical classroom noise levels

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
