Secondary Cover Supervisor – Rochford and surrounding areas

Teaching Personnel are working with Secondary Schools in Rochford, to recruit a Cover Supervisor for a full time position. Applications for the cover supervisor position are welcome from candidates of ranging experience although previous experience working with students with challenging behaviour is an advantage.

The role of cover supervisor will involve leading lessons and covering in the absence of class teachers (varying subjects).

 

You will:

• Have experience working with students aged 4 – 16

• Have the flexibility to work in different subjects and be confident managing behaviour

• Be able to demonstrate your ability to build professional relationships with students

• Have a fun but firm presence

• Have an interest in education

• Have a strength in any subject across the curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
