Cover Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.

Manage student behaviour and provide support to ensure students remain on task.

Follow and deliver pre-set lesson plans provided by teaching staff.

Engage with students to promote participation and adherence to school policies.
Essential Requirements:
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
-
A proactive and adaptable approach to different learning environments.

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in core subjects; a degree or relevant experience is advantageous.

Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
