Cover Supervisor

Location: Northampton
Contract Type: Part-Time and Full-Time 
Start Date: ASAP 

Looking for a flexible role that makes a difference? Become a Cover Supervisor in Northampton
We are seeking confident and adaptable individuals to step in as Cover Supervisors in a range of secondary schools across Northampton. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain classroom experience and support schools by covering lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the classroom, ensuring they stay on task with pre-set work.
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning and provide assistance where needed.
  • Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity in students’ learning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people, such as in a tutoring, coaching, or youth work capacity.
  • Confidence in managing a classroom and maintaining student engagement.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to adapt to different school settings.
