Cover Supervisor required for secondary school in Havant

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Havant to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity to support students’ learning in a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring pupils remain engaged with their learning.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and maintain a positive classroom environment.
  • Support pupils with tasks and questions, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following the school’s policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, supporting both staff and pupils as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
