Job description

Teaching Personnel is on the lookout for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to work across a diverse range of secondary schools in Bristol.

Your role as a Cover Supervisor involves:

  • Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain on task with their learning activities.
  • Delivering engaging pre-prepared lessons to KS3&4 students.
  • Creating a safe and supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
  • Implementing a range of behaviour management techniques to promote a positive learning atmosphere.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Has experience working with young people.
  • Enjoys leading and inspiring others.
  • Has GCSE’s in English and Maths.
  • Is adaptable, reliable and resilient.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
