Position: Cover Supervisor (Day-to-Day Supply)
Location: Sussex
Salary: £100 - £140 per day
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education during teacher absences. You will oversee classes, manage classroom behavior, and deliver pre-prepared lessons across various year groups. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy variety and are skilled at adapting to different teaching environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and deliver pre-planned lessons to students in the absence of their regular teacher.
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Support students' learning and address any questions they may have.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
  • Adapt to different school settings and year groups with ease.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous teaching experience is essential.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in various schools across Sussex.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
