Cover Supervisor for Secondary Schools

Location:

Qualifications:

Degree

Job Duties:

  • Supervising students in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and activities
  • Providing support to students with their learning
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

Degree in any subject

Education:

Minimum of a degree in any subject

Experience:

Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Organisational skills and the ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily indoors within a school environment. May require standing for extended periods and some light lifting. Flexible working hours based on school schedule.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
