We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join our team in September 2024. The successful candidate will have a passion for technology and education, and will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students aged 11-18, including preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Computer Science curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages and computing concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
