Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering topics such as coding, algorithms, data structures, and cyber security.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and technologies to promote problem-solving, logical thinking, and creativity in students.
- Prepare students for GCSE Computer Science examinations, ensuring they understand core concepts and develop programming skills.
- Create a positive and focused learning environment through effective classroom management strategies.
- Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them improve and reach their full potential.
- Work closely with the ICT and Computer Science departments, contributing to curriculum development and innovation.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Computer Science or ICT.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is highly desirable.
- Effective communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
