Are you a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation of tech innovators? Teaching Personnel is seeking a motivated individual to join a dynamic team in Newton Abbot.

About the Role:

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students at various levels, from Key Stage 3 to A-Level. You will have the opportunity to shape the curriculum, use innovative teaching methods, and encourage students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that supports all students in achieving their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of computer science and integrate them into your teaching.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, algorithms, and software development.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching.
  • Experience in teaching Computer Science at secondary school level is preferred but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
