Class Teacher
Job description
Are you ready to make a difference?
Contrary to popular belief, you don't need extensive experience in special education to excel in an SEN school. Many of our most successful SEN teachers began their careers in mainstream education before discovering the rewarding world of special education.
Why Choose a Career in SEN?
- Focus on Well-being: Emphasise well-being over purely results-driven education.
- Flexible Curriculum: Enjoy the freedom from the rigidity of mainstream curriculum.
- Smaller Class Sizes: Benefit from fewer students per class, allowing for more meaningful relationships.
- Job satisfaction: Experience the fulfilment that comes from celebrating even the smallest milestones, knowing that your work can be life changing.
- Teamwork: Work with multiple learning support assistants, creating a strong team dynamic within your class as well as the wider school community.
- Exciting Opportunities: Take part in more trips, enjoy the best facilities, and have more fun!
