Job description

Job Title: Business Studies Teacher

Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Tameside

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £162 - £251 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies to students
  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum in line with the national standards
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal development goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour

Required Qualifications:

A recognised teaching qualification in Business Studies

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Enhanced DBS check

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Studies or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Business Studies

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK curriculum for Business Studies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics
  • Passion for education and student success

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education

Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
