Job Title: Business Studies Teacher

Location: Manchester, Tameside

Immediate Start Date, Full-Time hours until at least April 2025 (potentially longer)

Salary: £162 - £251 Per day (M1 - UPS3 teacher pay scale)

Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons to students
• Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of assessment
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic development
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Business Studies curriculum
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Need to have taught OCR enter[prise and marketing at KS4
• Degree in Business Studies or a related field
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Business Studies

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students
• Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education or Business Studies
• Experience in delivering vocational qualifications in Business Studies

Working Conditions:

• Working hours: Full-Time
• Contract-based role
• Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular responsibilities
