Job Title: Business Studies Teacher
Location: Manchester, Tameside
Immediate Start Date, Full-Time hours until at least April 2025 (potentially longer)
Salary: £162 - £251 Per day (M1 - UPS3 teacher pay scale)
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of assessment
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic development
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Business Studies curriculum
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Need to have taught OCR enter[prise and marketing at KS4
- Degree in Business Studies or a related field
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Business Studies
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or Business Studies
- Experience in delivering vocational qualifications in Business Studies
Working Conditions:
- Working hours: Full-Time
- Contract-based role
- Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
