Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Business Studies teacher to join one of our client schools in Central Manchester. This position will be full-time, starting in September, with the potential to move onto a permanent school contract if successful.

The salary for this position will be paid in line with the teacher pay scale (£30,000 to £46,525 per year).

It is important that you are confident in behaviour management. The school that you will be working in has had vast improvements to their behaviour policies in recent years and the school is a supportive and engaging environment, however behaviour management will be central to this role. The school has made significant improvements in recent years, it now has an Ofsted rating of 2, meaning that it is a good education provider. The school is located in central Manchester, and it is easy to commute to from the surrounding areas of Moss Side, Rusholme and Gorton.

The successful candidate for this position will be a fully qualified, experienced Business Studies teacher. As part of this position, you will be responsible for teaching a class of GCSE aged pupils. You should deliver interesting lessons to engage the pupils in their learning, best preparing them for their GCSE examinations. As a member of staff, you will have safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring that all procedures are followed correctly.

To be successful for this position, it is essential that you are able to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check, as well as provide at least two employment-based references that cover the last two years of your employment.
