Business Manager
Start date: ASAP
£12.90 - £14.50 per hour
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a primary school within Blackburn who are seeking to recruit a proactive and enthusiastic School Business Manager and Admin Support Assistants to join busy Business Support teams. These roles are currently temporary until January 2025, however, there is potential for the roles to become permanent for the correct candidate.
As part of the role, you will be asked to undertake tasks including, general typing, filing, covering reception, dealing with queries from parents/carers and other external service providers as well as receiving and administering deliveries. You will provide administration support to the teaching & pastoral staff as well as the Admin Manager and other colleagues where appropriate. A good understanding and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is a required for this role. Knowledge of SIMS and school finance systems is essential.
It is important that all staff enjoy working with young people, we expect all staff to be willing to support their students to ensure they have the best experience they can during their time at Primary School.
We are seeking a number of individuals with enthusiasm for the role; someone who will work with colleagues to contribute towards the school’s vision, to inspire students beyond the curriculum and expand their cultural knowledge so that they can stand shoulder to shoulder’ with any other young person, from any other background.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
