Teaching Personnel are working with an Independent school in Newport to find a Business/IT Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Business Studies and a good understanding of ICT curriculum requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator looking to make a positive impact within our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in Business Studies, fostering critical and analytical thinking.
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.
• Cover ICT classes as required, ensuring continuity and coherence in the curriculum.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to departmental planning.
• Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the Business Studies and ICT curricula.
• Proven experience in a similar teaching role is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to the school's ethos, values, and vision for education.
• Enhanced DBS
• EWC Registration.
• Able to provide 2 most recent school references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
