About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Business and Economics Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and help them develop an understanding of the business world and economic principles. You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, fostering their interest in these critical subjects and preparing them for success in exams and future careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Business and Economics, aligned with the national curriculum.
- Inspire students to engage with complex business concepts and economic theories.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Prepare students for examinations and coursework assessments.
- Develop and use innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance learning.
- Promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extra-curricular activities.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualifications: A degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience: Previous teaching experience at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 is desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for Business and Economics and a commitment to student success.
- Adaptability: Willingness to embrace new teaching strategies and technologies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
