Teaching Personnel are hiring for a KS4 & KS5 Business Studies and Economics teacher in a high-attaining school in central Bristol. Within these beautiful grounds, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and marking a full timetable of lessons split between Business Studies for KS4 & 5 and Economics for KS5.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To deliver relevant and differentiated Business and Economics curriculum work for students.
  • To monitor and supports’ overall progress and development of students within the subject.
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience that allows students to maximise their potential.
  • To share and support the school’s responsibility to providing and monitoring opportunities for personal and academic growth.
  • To become a pastoral role model in which students can build great trust and respect in order to help their education success

The successful candidate will have:

  • PGCE/QTS or an equivalent to.
  • A business, maths, economics, or other relevant degree (desirable)
  • An enhanced child-only DBS and EWC
  • Two professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
