At Teaching Personnel, we are looking to recruit a Biology Teacher for one of our secondary schools in Wakefield.

Role Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Biology Teacher to deliver engaging and dynamic lessons to secondary school students. This role provides an exciting platform to ignite curiosity, deepen understanding, and empower the next generation of biologists and life scientists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver stimulating and accessible Biology lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore and question the wonders of the living world.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to make complex biological concepts relevant and relatable to everyday life.
- Assess student progress effectively through a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies, providing timely feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities that enrich the learning experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
