Biology Teacher (1-Term Contract)
Location: Cardiff, South Wales
Contract: Full-Time (1 Term, Spring Term 2025)
Salary: Paid to Scale
Start Date: January 6th 2025
Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf on one of our partner schools, a small, well-regarded independent school in Cardiff who are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join their team for a 1-term contract in the Spring Term 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to teach motivated students in a supportive and focused educational environment.
Role Overview:
- Teach Biology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with occasional lessons at Key Stage 5.
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
- Prepare students for assessments and exams, ensuring strong progress and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated Science Department to maintain the school’s excellent academic standards.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with the WJEC specification is highly desirable.
- UK QTS is essential.
- Proven experience teaching Biology at secondary school level, including Key Stage 5.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire a love of Biology in students.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
