Behavioural Support Assistant
Location: Caldicot
Salary: Starting from £83.85
Start Date: October 7th, 2024
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Assistant to collaborate with students at a secondary school in Caldicot, catering to pupils aged 11-16. This role will involve both one-on-one interaction with students and working with small groups. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to foster relationships and overcome challenges to establish trust with the students.
The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to assist students in managing their behaviour and emotions, while also helping to enhance their social skills. As part of a larger support team, strong collaboration with fellow staff members will be essential. You will need to recognize potential triggers and distractions to create a constructive and positive learning atmosphere for the students.

Requirements:
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Two references from your most recent employers.
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
- Registration with the Educational Workforce Council.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
