Are you looking for a fulfilling role that offers new challenges and exciting opportunities every day? Do you have experience supporting individuals with complex needs or behavioural challenges? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!

The Role: A thriving school in Everton is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with an EHCP. The pupil has significant SEND needs, including SEMH support requirements. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and senior leaders to implement tailored support strategies. This role involves working both inside the classroom and in other learning spaces, with occasional support for other pupils as needed. You’ll also collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCo to understand the pupil’s needs, learning barriers, and progress. Prior experience working 1:1 with a child with an EHCP is preferred, but relevant experience with children or adults with significant needs is also valued.

The school: Located in a well-connected area, this school is known for its strong sense of community and commitment to positive change through its Christian values. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the school offers an enriching curriculum with a variety of extracurricular activities, including wellbeing sessions and clubs. The caring and supportive environment makes it a great place for professional growth, especially as the school is larger than many others in the area.
