Teaching Personnel work with a number of primary schools in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas who require behaviour support assistants to work with children who have challenges relationg to social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We are looking for pro-active, patient and professional individuals who have a strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's mental health.

We have both short term and long term roles available, due to the importance of continuity in this particular type of role; commitment is very important and there can be opportunities for permanent roles for the right person.

We are looking for someone who can:

- Keep calm and rational in overwhelming or stressful scenarios

- Empathise with others and understand the reasoning for specific behaviours and/or emotions

- Work as part of a team and take direction and constructive criticism well

- Commit to school hours from 8-3.30 Mon-Fri

As well as supporting the schools we work with, we also invest in the learning and development of our educators; providing free courses, webinars and information packs to ensure you can grow and develop in your career whilst you work with us. 

Pay is £12.90-£14.50 per hour depending on specifics of the role, qualifications and experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
