Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant - Primary school in Croydon
Location:
South East England, Surrey, Croydon
Job Type:
Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

£85 - £100 Per day
Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with challenging behaviour within an educational setting
- Implement behaviour management strategies as directed by the SENCO or teacher
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual behaviour plans
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Understanding of behaviour management techniques
Education:
Minimum of GCSE level education
Experience:
Previous experience working with children or young people
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of behaviour management techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
- Training in behaviour management strategies
Working Conditions:
- Work within a school environment
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
