Behaviour Mentor
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion to improve outcomes for children and young people who need it most. You will provide bespoke, targeted,and responsive support for pupils that are displaying challenging behaviour.
We are working with a partner secondary school in the Pembroke area. The school are looking for staff with experience of dealing with challenging behaviour in children and/or have qualfiications in positive behaviour management.

Your Experience
-
Experience of working in education, social care, community/youth work, military or other sectors with transferable skills and knowledge

Knowledge of:

Schooling in the UK
-
Pastoral care
-
How to empower and enable pupils and parents/carers to help themselves
-
Having access to transport is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
-
To identify, engage and mentor pupils who display challenging behaviour.

To encourage and motivate pupils to get back into the classroom and to improve attendance on an ongoing basis.

To support the school with other tasks as required e.g., lunchtime cover.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
