Are you an energetic, enthusiastic, and nurturing individual with a passion for education and making a difference? We are looking for dedicated Autism Learning Support Assistants to join our dynamic team in Horsham.

Position: Autism Learning Support Assistant
Location: Horsham
Annual Salary: £21,020

About the Role:

As an Autism Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students. You will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support in various subjects, helping students with autism thrive in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with autism.
  • Assist in the delivery of engaging lessons in PE, Art, English, Forest School, Music, and other core and non-core subjects.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Support the development of social and communication skills.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure the best outcomes for students.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and nurturing individuals.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting children with autism.
  • Strong interest in PE, Art, English, Forest School, Music, and a variety of other subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
