The Opportunity: We are seeking a Specialist Autism Practitioner to play a key role in leading and developing a dedicated provision as a Centre of Excellence. This school offers a range of provisions for students with language and communication difficulties who may also have autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We have a well-established and inclusive specialist provision that supports secondary-age ASD students within the mainstream secondary setting.

Your Role:

  • Work with a highly professional team committed to the inclusion and success of all students.
  • Contribute to the development and success of our dedicated ASD provision.
  • Support the individual needs of students and improve their learning opportunities.
  • Foster an inclusive community and make a positive contribution to our school environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting the needs of students with ASD.
  • Qualifications in SEN, Child Development, or Psychology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the inclusion of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
