Are you passionate about art and inspiring creativity in others? Do you have the skills and dedication to nurture young artistic talent? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a thriving school in Rochdale from January 2025.
You will have the opportunity to teach a range of students, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, helping them develop both their technical skills and creative expression. As an Art Teacher, you will inspire students to explore various mediums and techniques while encouraging independent thinking and artistic innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive art lessons.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress.
- Encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving through art.
- Promoting a positive and dynamic learning environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the department's curriculum.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong passion for art and education.
- Experience teaching art at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS5 preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A creative, forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
