Teaching Personnel is seeking a vibrant and creative Art Teacher to join a well-recognised secondary school in Liverpool starting Sept 2024. Are you interested in working in lively schools within Liverpool and surrounding areas and spread your love for Art and Design.

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit numerous Art and Design Teachers for the possibility of full-time work in September 2024. This is a great opportunity for any Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT), someone who is looking to return to teaching and has relevant experience, someone who is looking for a new or flexible role or someone has a real passion for Art, design and creativity.

The ideal candidate would have relevant knowledge of Art or come from a design background.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver inspiring Art and Design lessons to students 11-16.
  • Have a good knowledge of Art and Design and the theory behind it to provide constructive lessons.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents, students and other teachers to help with their learning development.
  • Partake in extracurricular workshops and exhibitions.
  • Foster a positive learning environment, have strong classroom management skills and create a dynamic and bright Art department.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification or knowledge of Art and design.
  • Enhanced DBS cleared & uploaded to the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Full right to work within the UK.
  • Have up to date safeguarding training or willing to take it. (Provided for free by Teaching Personnel).
