We are actively recruiting for a qualified Art and Design teacher to work full time in one of our brilliant schools in Coventry. The successful candidate will be able to commit to a full time position, be confident and have strong classroom presence. The school is situated in a bustling area in Coventry with a diverse range of pupils, giving the successful teacher the opportunity to grow and thrive.
Hours: Full time
Location: Coventry
Pay: To Scale (for full time, long term positions. Day to day rates may vary)
Person Specification/Job Description:
- Hold a UK QTS in Secondary Art & Design
- Have prior experience and a proven track record teaching Art and Design within secondary schools
- Be a strong classroom presence and be confident with behaviour management techniques
- Have previous experience supporting children and young adults with special educational needs
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that are condusive with the pupils' learning in order for them to achieve their target grades
- Regularly track pupil progress thorugh various forms of assessment, this needs to be done often and you must provide timely and constructive feedback to all pupils
- Be a team player and collaborate with colleagues within the department to enhance the department but to also ensure the best outcomes for the pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
